Delete Your Data

MemoryLens is designed so that almost nothing you create ever leaves your device. This page explains exactly how to delete your data — whether it lives on your phone or, in a few cases, on our servers.

Most users: no account, nothing on our servers

MemoryLens does not require an account. If you simply downloaded the app and use it normally, all of your data stays on your device — your photos, face data, folders, and thumbnails are never uploaded to us.

To delete everything, uninstall MemoryLens. Android permanently removes the app's private storage — including all face embeddings, folder data, and cached thumbnails — as part of the uninstall. Your original photos in your camera roll are never modified or deleted by MemoryLens. There is nothing further to request.

If you have data on our servers

We hold personal data on our servers in only three cases. If any of these apply to you, you can ask us to delete it:

• Founding Tester programme — if you took part in our invite-only Founding Tester programme, we hold the email address you used to verify.
• Pro purchase — if you bought Lifetime Pro, a purchase record (an anonymous user ID and entitlement status) is held by our payments provider RevenueCat and in our purchase records.
• Waitlist — if you joined our waitlist on this website, we hold the email address and any survey answers you submitted.

How to request deletion

Email memorylens.support@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data". To help us find your record, please include:

• The email address you used (for Founding Tester or waitlist), and
• For a purchase, your Google Play order ID (from your Play Store receipt).

We will delete the data we hold and confirm within 30 days. Note that Google Play retains its own record of purchases under its policies; refunds and Play purchase history are handled by Google.
